February Friends

Our school year is just flying by!  I'm sure I say this every year, but really it is.  Looking back at all the progress since the beginning of the year just amazes me.  I love this age, watching the huge milestones of development, watching them make friends and learning to use their imaginations in dramatic play.
 It has been nice to see our friends making letters in the "Post Office" in the Dragonfly room and delivering them to their friends.  We will be focusing a lot on "Friends" this month during February, as well as continuing with our school wide study of "Transportation".
 During the month of February we will also focus on the shape: Heart (of course), Colors; Red & Pink and Number 3 (counting and quantifying number 3 specifically) and Zoophonics letters R,S,T,U

<3 Our Valentine's Day Party is quickly approaching on Thurs, Feb. 13th & Fri. Feb. 14th ~ don't forget to sign up to bring an item for our snack.  We will decorate bags for the children to share Valentine cards with their friends (a list of all children's names will go home Mon/Tues) We will have some fun games and art activities to participate in on party days.
