Happy Labor Day ~ September is here!

I have enjoyed getting to know the children these past two weeks.  It is so much fun to watch their faces as the puppet “Stripy” talks to them, watch them dance and sing.   Most of all I have enjoyed watching them explore every inch of the classrooms!  It seems they are becoming comfortable and discovering that this is a safe, fun place to be. If your child is not one that seems comfortable yet, not to worry - a little patience, positive talk and reassurance you will return and they will soon be off enjoying themselves!

Now that it is September 1^st we will begin learning our “Zoo Phonics” Friends beginning with Allie Alligator.  We will focus on Allie Alligator for 2 weeks so we all get thing idea of the sound Allie makes.  We will also for the month of September, focus on: 

• The color Red
• The shape Square
• and the Number 1

 EVENTS

• Back to School Night - September 16th @ 6 p.m.  Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy visiting with other families as well as touring the classrooms.
• Field Trip to Willowbrook Apple Farm - September 18th & 19th
