I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. It was refreshing to have a break and time to regroup. As we return to school we will begin our study of BOXES. If you have any left from Christmas please bring them in~especially any different shaped boxes, wooden, etc. All sizes will be greatly appreciated. I am particularly looking for several large, crate type (I have recieved groceries packed in them at Costco, heavy duty for produce), these will be for kids to sit in so even if they aren't the heavy duty type any large size would be great! I am also gathering empty, square kleenx boxes to use for sorting.
I would also like to create an I SPY game and will be looking for all kinds of small objects: Buttons, small shells, caps from the fruit and veggie squeeze drinks, old keys, miniature animals or any other type miniature things.
We have 2 scheduled days off I wanted you to be aware of: FRIDAY JAN. 10th and MONDAY JAN. 20th there will be NO SCHOOL.
I am looking forward to seeing lots of creativity and use of imagination happening the first few weeks of January!
