Happy Fall!
Isn't nice to have a change in weather? I love this time of year, there are many changes, from the feel of coolness of Fall in the air to shorter days and changing of leaves on the trees.
We will begin working on the color ORANGE, Number 2, and the shape TRIANGLE for OCTOBER.
This week we will begin a study of TREES and continuing until well, until we are done. :D
This is our first study this year so it will be a new venture for our little ones. We will begin with finding out what we already know about trees and thinking about what we want to know about trees.
I would love for you to bring in any items from trees in your yard, trees you saw while walking/hiking, vacationing, etc. This could be various leaves, pine cones, flowers, bark, any product from a tree.
I am excited about starting this study to see where it takes us and just what we learn!
We will also be going to Willowbrook Apple Orchard on Oct. 3 & 4 so this will give us an opportunity to experience first hand, something that grows on trees! I hope you can all make the trip!
Since Fall is now upon us, I want to give you a heads up on our Harvest Party on Oct. 30 & 31. On your school calendar it states it will be a pajama party, but we have come up with a much better idea of dressing up as a Zoophonics Character! More info to follow.
