Successful 1st Week of School !!

What an amazing 1st week of school!
I am so impressed with all the children - so little crying, so much exploring.
I am enjoying getting to know all of your children even more than I imagined I would.   I  appreciate the parents who have worked in the classroom this first week, you have been so patient while we work through our beginning of the year schedule.
What a pleasure to see children venturing to the other classrooms and outdoors!  I have been able to peek in on the children playing and have witnessed developing scientists, chemists, entomologists, marine biologists, artists, master chefs, engineers, mathematicians, athletes, explorers, and so much more!  They have truly had a great week exploring, and there is so much more adventure ahead!

Next week we will continue with the exploration of "All About Me" by completing our project of decorating the background for our family pictures and will get them posted on the wall.

I would like to give a huge "THANK YOU" to Dakota M.'s mom, Lindsay Martin, for painting my rocking chair and diaper shelf and also to Lane's Grandma Lala for sewing curtains and a cushion for my rocking chair!  Our room is looking quite spiffy and fun!  (Just in case you haven't guessed, my favorite color is blue).
